日本鳥取縣生產的梨遠近馳名，是日本梨中唯一的綠色梨品種。
二十世紀水晶梨在日本梨的生產量中排行第三，而鳥取縣的產量佔了全日本的80%。
這個品種在1888年於千葉縣松戶市被13歲的男童發現，名為「新太白」。

精緻的二十世紀水晶梨是以人工授粉，果農會仔細地用蠟紙包起果實，避免蟲害之餘亦保持果皮美觀。
水晶梨果皮呈黃綠色，愈金黃的果皮表示甜度愈高。
它們口感爽脆，清甜無渣，甜度達11.5度以上。

The pears produced in Tottori Prefecture, Japan are well-known far and wide, and are the only green pear varieties among Japanese pears.
In the 20th century, crystal pears ranked third in the production volume of pears in Japan, and Tottori prefecture's production accounted for 80% of Japan's production.
This breed was discovered by a 13-year-old boy in Matsudo City, Chiba Prefecture in 1888, and it was named "New Taibai".

The exquisite 20th century crystal pears are artificially pollinated, and the fruit growers will carefully wrap the fruit in wax paper to avoid pest damage and keep the peel beautiful.
The peel of crystal pear is yellow-green, and the more golden the peel, the higher the sweetness.
They taste crisp, sweet and slag-free, with a sweetness of over 11.5 degrees.
